What’s Involved

  • Support engineering activities across shipbuilding projects, from design through steel fabrication, assembly, unit/block movement, erection, outfitting, HVAC and equipment installation
  • Support the definition of production scope and development of work packages
  • Apply constructions standards, procedures, and process daily manufacturing oversight
  • Collaborate with Quality and Accuracy Control teams to ensure compliance
  • Contribute to risk identification within the production environment

You’ll Need

  • Structural Fabrication qualification with Shipbuilding/heavy construction experience
  • 8+ years’ experience in a Shipbuilding Fabrication role
  • Understanding of structural fabrication, outfitting, HVAC and equipment installation
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings and coordinate across multiple disciplines
  • Competency in Microsoft Office suite
  • Experience using CAD software
  • Lean manufacturing software (desirable)
